TIRDEM runs programs addressing spiritual, social, environmental and economic needs — all grounded in our Christian faith.
TIRDEM- CHILD DEVELOPMENT
We care for over 300 vulnerable children in Chikwawa and surrounding areas — and counting. Our vision: _To release children from poverty in Jesus' name._ Through this program, children receive support in: Education | Life Skills | Nutritious Meals | Healthcare | Spiritual Growth | Economic Empowerment
TIRDEM MERCY MINISTRY
Restoring Hope to Orphans and Widows_ _James 1:27 We currently support: 150 Widows | 45 Orphans | 400 Vulnerable Children. We provide care in 5 key areas: 1. Nurturing Environment 2. Food and Nutrition 3. Education Support 4. Healthcare 5. Discipleship
CHRIST TO UNREACHED PLACES
We reach out to communities with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, without regard to denomination. TIRDEM believes:The Church belongs to God, and souls belong to Christ. Our goal is simple: _Winning souls back to Christ.

This programme encourages ministers to fulfil their calling through training and workshops, while promoting unity among church leaders.

Youth & Development
TIRDEM will empower youth who have received the Word of God and Jesus Christ as their personal saviour.
Program Aims
1
To protect themselves and others against HIV infection, early childbearing and marriages.
2
To contribute to care and acceptance of those infected and affected; reduce health-related stigma and discrimination.
3
To seek expert medical care and services early and consistently.
4
To avoid engaging in health damaging behaviour such as excessive alcohol intake, drug abuse and risky behaviours including early sex and multiple sexual partners.
5
To support efforts to eliminate all forms of discrimination and violation of the rights of girls and boys within and outside homes.

To create enough skilled manpower and income generating activities in the rural areas.

To increase work opportunities through self employment.

To fulfil the needs of development in the villages and reduce rural-urban migration.

To stimulate the growth and upgrade rural communities through establishment of rural enterprises by trained Christians.
